‘Satire & Social Justice’ with Featured Artist, Conrad Koch
As part of the Wits Centre for Diversity Studies (WiCDS) 10th Annual Conference on Irreverence, Ridicule and the Risqué: Humour in [De][Pro]moting Social Justice, we invite you to an evening with comedian, ventriloquist, and social commentator, Conrad Koch and his most famous puppet, Chester Missing!
Open and FREE to the public, this performance will engage with questions of humour, laughter and jokes in relation to social (in)justice. International Emmy-nominated comedian Conrad Koch will perform with his irreverent puppet, Chester Missing, followed by an interactive session on the uses and limits of humour toward social justice.
Come prepared to engage with Conrad Koch and Chester Missing and for an evening full of laughter and learning!
